Brompton Bike Maintenance

brompton

We run a one-day course for Brompton owners covering basic skills for general bike maintenance, as well as those special skills needed for looking after your Brompton, from rear-wheel removal and replacement, to gear issues, brakes and chains, including replacing chains, gear and brake cables, and brake blocks. We’re also happy to cover any other problems you might have on your bike, such as removal and replacement of bottom brackets, and tightening loose headsets.

Like all our courses, the Brompton one is very hands-on – you will be working on your own bike. If you don’t yet own a Brompton, we can possibly arrange one for you can work on during the class given a week’s notice. Please use the form below to request this.

As with many of our other classes, the session starts at 10am on a Saturday (unless otherwise specified), and takes place in our Greenford workshop. In fact, our workshop is just down the road from the Brompton factory in Greenford.

The price is a very competitive £60, which explains why places go rather quickly!  The first class of the year is Saturday 27 March.
